Studio tour
SiestaStudio is organized into a few main areas. Here is a quick orientation so you know where everything lives.
Top navigation
The top bar gives access to Projects, the language switcher, and your account menu. On mobile, a drawer replaces the top bar.
The studio editor
The studio editor is where you build a calculation. The left side has
collapsible parameter panels (Structure, Basis Set, k-points, and so on). The
right side shows the live .fdf preview and the 3D structure viewer.
Click any panel heading to expand or collapse it. The Validation panel at the bottom summarizes errors and warnings across all panels.
Projects and calculations
The Projects page lists your work organized into projects. Each project contains one or more calculations and any analyses you have saved. Use the sidebar to navigate between them.
Cluster jobs tab
Once you have connected an HPC cluster, the Cluster jobs tab inside each project shows submitted jobs and their current status.
Analysis workspace
Open a saved analysis from a project to view plots — band structures, DOS, potential profiles, and more — in the analysis workspace.
