Is SiestaStudio free?

Yes. SiestaStudio is a free academic beta. There are no paid plans.

Does SiestaStudio run SIESTA for me?

No. You build and manage inputs in SiestaStudio and run them on your own HPC cluster over SSH. SiestaStudio submits jobs and pulls results back.

Where are my cluster credentials stored?

SSH credentials are encrypted at rest. See HPC credential security.

What languages is the interface available in?

English, Spanish, Catalan, and Persian.

Can I use SiestaStudio on a phone or tablet?

Yes. The interface is fully responsive. You can build calculations, browse projects, and open the cluster terminal from a mobile browser.

What output file types can SiestaStudio analyze?

SiestaStudio parses band structure (.bands), density of states (.DOS), projected DOS, potential profile, structure files (.XV, .ANI), and outputs from the tbtrans, vibra, denchar, macroave, fat, and mprop subprograms.

How do I export my data or delete my account?

Go to Settings → Privacy to download a JSON export of all your data or to permanently delete your account. See Data export and deletion.

What schedulers are supported for cluster job submission?

SLURM and PBS/Torque are supported. You can also choose no scheduler if you want to upload input files manually and submit them yourself.
